Ive dicided id rather spend my time on other projects so (slightly regrattably) I'm putting my 126 and all the parts i have for it up forsale.
Basicly what i have is a C-reg 126 FSM that has been stripped down to do some repairs to the shell. The front panels have been removed but otherwise it is untouched. The shell has some rot to the floor along the sills, athough the attual inner sill panel is good. The outersills have a few patches of rust at the front end and the lower rear quaters need some work! Other than that its solid! Its never been welded before so it should be a relly simple job to fix.
Included in the price are about 90% of the panels that will be needed including (that cost about £250-300 to import from germany)
2 outersills
2 full floor pans
2 lower rear 1/4 panels
3 Wings (one spare)
1 Frontpanel
There is also
1 spare door (needs new skin)
1 spare bonnet (a bit rusty)
1 spare engine cover (good)
1 spare rear x-member (good)
I have one complete 650cc aircooled engine and gearbox with the later wasted spark type ignition. It was running when i removed it from the car and has been kept undercover, Gearbox was in good working order too as i ran it up and down the road a few times to check! (Good boxes are pretty rare as 1st gear has a tendiancy to get mullered)
I also have a numer of spare engine parts including
1 Good head
4 Cylinders
1 Crankcase (dogey cam bearings)
1 Crank
1 Carb
1 Box of odds and ends
Drive train wise is have 2 sets of suspension some partialy stripped but atleast 1 set complete and lots of spares. It needs restoration but is all there!
I also have a pair of alloy fiat panda callipers and discs which can be used for a disc upgrade if you make a bracket (simple!) (they cost about £50)
Theres a few bits of spare glass and a few spare dash clusters and stuff. (both early and late) Theres quite a few spare lights (atleast 2 sets) and a few essential interior bits but most of the interior (seats etc.) have been chucked!
Theres a log book for it but i think the perevious owner had sent off the 'scrapped' part to the DVLA so you will probably need to pay £20 for a new V5. apparently it would be treated like a Cat C write off but I'm not 100% sure what that means.
I guess it would probaly suite someone who wanted to do a bike engine conversion or something, So If you didnt want the engine i wouldnt mind keeping it incase i get another one but whatever suits you goes relly!
I'm basicly looking to get most of my money back that ive spent on it so I'm asking £375ono
