Got the porsche MOT'ed the other day, passed first time!!! Tester commented on how good it was for a 22 year old car. On the way home I was so chuffed that I pulled over to call my mate to tell him. As I pulled away, there was a seriously loud noise and it locked up. I'd broken the transaxle!! So as I want another Minor i'm selling it as is, It is a good example with a years MOT, 1985, black leather, Fuch wheels, sunroof bag, some history, and ran well until it broke. I value it at about £1500 fixed. The body is in very good condition. The gearbox (transaxle) is available on e-bay for £100 and then you've got to fit it. So this could be a bargain for someone. Other faults are the drivers electric window stopped working (available on e-bay) and the passenger side window is slow. Apart from that its great. Classic insurance is available, I pay £214 (not garaged) I want £750 for it. or swap for MOT'ed 2 door Moggy or Hillman Super Minx (my two favourite cars) ;D.    |

lovely car, i hanker after one in guards or alpine with fuchs. is it a 924 or oval dash model? think the change over was around a B plate wasnt it?

It also has the original roof bag, the boot cover and proper porsche over mats. Had quote to do transaxle today of £200 + £100 buying it.

its an early dash model too............ christ i'd actually consider selling my celica for this..........

I can think of a very easy way, you come down with a trailer and take it. Easy! I might even make you a cup of tea (i even use yorkshire tea)

Hi there, I'm intrested, but have the same lack-of trailer problem ! Whereabouts in Essex are you and any chance of viewing sometime? Might encourage me to stump up some extra cash to have it brought home.....
