Like I said I`m stretching a point with this one, so I`ll test the water first - would anyone be interested in a 1994 Peugeot 405 that is absolutely out of the box mint, mechanically perfect, like something from a Peugeot main dealer`s forecourt 10 years ago etc.? Edit: pics below! the car is a 1.8 petrol with aircon and really nice velour interior, and it will have a 12 month MOT for its new owner. mileage is 82,000 - the car feels so tight and new to drive - I`d have it as my own daily in a flash were it not for the Galant. The last pic reveals a blemish in the brightwork of the bumper, thats the worst bit on the car!

Post the pics man. If no one is interested they wouldn't look at the thread, I'm quite interested to see how this beasty looks.

Sounds like a peach to me if it drives tight - even my baggy 177k mile GLDT was ace over a fast B-road

Current vehicle collection: 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero convertible - in mid-life crisis yellow No new retro as yet ... all attempts to sneak one onto the drive have failed.

Small world eh? Its on the website at £995 yeah, but it doesnt have to be that, if someone on here wants it I`ll come up with a nice deal.

Not pushing it that much IMHO - I really like the 405 - still looks fresh compared to its rivals at the time I reckon. Looks a tasty motor for not a lot of dollar.

These drive lovely, it really is hard to believe how well they drive 11 years later and with near 100k. The one I drove had done 120k and it drove like a brand new car!

Indeed they do! If anyone wants this I`ll take £800, including a full MOT and a warranty. A proper warranty, not one of those rubbishy 3rd party things that only covers you for 6 pence worth of engine damage and classes everything as wear and tear.

If it was an oil burner I'd be biting your arm off for it at £800

Daft thing is I had a GTX TD just as nice only a month ago - no 405s for 2 years and then 2 diamonds come along at once!
