SOLD - 1989 BMW 520i (E34)
160k miles, 2 litre, 15" BBS alloys, electric sunroof, ideal cheap family car or parts for something faster!
It's been a great reliable car (drove to Inverness and back no problems a few weeks ago), however lots of little repairs are needed when the MOT expires on Friday and I don't have the time to get it done. Would suit a mechanic who can do the work in spare time. It's too good to scrap IMHO, but would also be a great source for spare parts. 5000 miles ago it was serviced and a new clutch slave cylinder, thermostat and viscous fan fitted.
Repairs needed for MOT:
* New wiper blades
* New muffler/rear exhaust system
* New front brake discs and pads
* One new ball joint
* One new brake pipe
* Small rust repair to outer sill - very small hole according to inspector
* One new rear shock absorber and both rear shock pivots
* Handbrake needs attention
Tyres have passed the MOT but will need replacing sometime soon.
Because of these repairs I'm only after £100, and I'm open to offers. I've already been offered free removal so you'll have to do better than that!
MUST SELL THIS EASTER WEEKEND - I NEED IT COLLECTED BEFORE TUESDAY. No exceptions sorry, I hope someone here can help me out.
Also comes with nearly half a tank of petrol, and a full bottle of Armorall wash & wax with sponge and buckets!
