This is a Mk2 Civic with the Hondamatic transmission.
I've just got this back from as a kind of p/ex from mum, who I sold it to about 4 years ago. I got it from a customer who was given it by a family member, so there's only 3 former keepers on the log book.
It's done 57k from new and was Tuf cote Dinol'd, so all the structural bits are solid and original. The interior is cherry other than a small rip on the passenger seat near the adjuster (I think you can just see it in one of the pics), It has been blessed / cursed with a glass sunroof, but this doesn't leak and the instruction leaflet is still in the glove box!!
It had new shoes / cylinders last year and I think the exhaust system was replaced too.
The bodywork does have some surface rust from chips / knocks but I couldn't make any holes in them. The only hole was in the tailgate under the window. This has had a plate tacked in and blown over to keep the weather out. The lips each end of the drivers side gutter also had some pitting and this has been cleaned zinc'd and blown over for the same reason.
I've been using it a little and it drives spot on, but much as I'd like to keep it, I think I've got enough projects on the go at the minute!
Taxed til the end of April
MOT'd until July but I will put a years ticket on if required
£350 ono, may swap p/ex
Viewing welcome, any quetions / anything I've missed just ask
