I've been offered a Saab 9-3 for a really good price, and like most people on here I haven't got room fot 5 cars! (and a van  )
So my li'll 1100 will have to go.
I't in really good condition for it's age, the paint is not perfect, but it is still very nicely presented.
At the moment it's got 'GT' badges, grill and wheel trims, but all the original ones come with the car.
It's got less than 34,000 miles on the clock and loads of old MOTs and insurence certs dating back as far as 1976, so it's fair to asume it's correct! And it's still got it's (own) PASSPORT TO SERVICE.
The last owner, a Vicar from Nottingham (his wifes car), had a rear subframe, inner wing 'trumpets' and sill and floor repairs done in June 1995 at a cost of 699.46.
Shortly after this work was done, his wife was diagnosed with MS, and the car was left in their garage untill Christmas 2005, when the 1100 specialist (RPM Workshops) put it back on the road. All it wanted was the carb' cleaning, the brakes freeing off, and a good rad' fitting. I bought it off him last Feb.
I've had great fun with it this last year, and just spent nearly 200 pounds on a new battery and a an electronic ign' set-up for it a few weeks ago. But now I feel I should pass it on as I've not got a garage it keep it in, and can't really justify have that many cars.
I'm hopefully going to have some bronze valve guides fitted in the cyl' head this week (if I've bought the right ones) so it'll be fine with UL fuel.
It's tested untill Jan 2008 and I've just put 6 months tax on it. (Not tax exept, it's a '73 model)
I'm after about 950 pounds for it, please P.M. me if anyones interested, and feel free to ask me any questions
