Just a Quick Question for you guys, Mate just got a Mini and wants to Fit a Vacuum Guage to the car, is this possible and where would the pipework go, If it is possible (i don't really have much of a clue) it must be around the inlet am i right

It is possible, you can get kits that replace the plastic seal on the carb that has a connector on for the pipe to the guage. Try: www.holden.co.uk they stock the fitting kits for the various carbs. I'm sure other companys do them too. The pipe work can then be plumbed around the bulkhead and behind the dash.

Just seen a Fuel Pressure Guage now this could be interestign as the MGB one is not very good and could tell me if the punmp is about to go by the pressur dropping, do you reckon thos requires a pressurised tank as i know the MGB one aint

I would'nt have thaught so.. If it is on the engine side of the pump then surely it would work fine.

Humm the Pumps themselves are located behind the Drivers Seat next to the back wheel (Yep stupid Place as the curse word off the road covers them) think i may have to purchase one now, ahh this site is actually really good more of an excuse to spend money ;D Looks like the weight i have just stripped out the Roadster is now going to be gained in other components
