1967 Volvo type 221 Amazon Estate. Strong 2 litre Volvo B20 engine. Very low - Lowered with shorter springs - not cut. Doesn't do speed bumps. Pinstriped bonnet. This car really turns heads. New exhaust box (side exit). Very reliable car (its a volvo!), just drove from Devon to Scotland over christmas in it - 900 miles. Super solid underneath, built like a tank. Some rust bubbles on roof and doors but generally ok. Either give it some TLC and make it plush or leave ratty and run as is. 6 months MOT 6 Months Tax £1500 o.n.o. Ha ha, yeah, it is very famous at least down south! you cant not love it, it so much fun to drive too, fast for a 40 year old car!  |

forgot to mention - its got 4 brand new tires on it now, it was too low on the low profiles and needed raising up a bit, still low but now much more pleasant to drive.

Whats the suspension made up of?  swing arm solid axle coils? |

Hi mate,
The rear is solid rear axle on trailing arm with shorter coils and seperate standard shocks. the front is a double wishbone type arrangement with shorter coil and standard shocks. It is therefore very easy either to put hydraulics / air suspension on it or put it back to standard height. which ever floats your boat!

I know "Voodoo" very well! Awesome car, wanted to buy it when my friends were selling it.

Everyone loves Vudoo! Wish i could keep it, but my new house has no drop kerb on the driveway and no on road parking, so it takes 5 mins to get it on and off the driveway with chocks! so much fun to drive tho, faster too now its gone from 1.8 to 2L! Who was it you knew that owned it?

Yeah - bought it off matt, just saw it and had to buy it!i love the pinstriping matt did on the bonnet - he's offered to do some pinstriping for me if i need it done for a few beers. Cool guy! i would love to keep it.  |
