	Ok I admit it, I bought the thing on an eBay whim and now reality has set in. I can't really keep it as I'm fully immersed in the 64 SS and now the Taunus. You can see from the pics that is very untastefully painted in two tone beige and peach. I think the beige is original but the peach has been done later. The roof is flaking and bonnet in primer. Under-bonnet wiring doesn't look pretty but everything bar air-con seems to work ok. Very solid underneath, with just a few patches of filler on the bonnet and rear upper quarter areas near rear door. Remember, this has a separate chassis so it's basically a truck underneath. It would probably go straight through an MoT. Straight six 4.1 engine runs beautifully and is column auto. Just did 220 miles in it and she was fine, giving 25mpg. It's 18ft long. It would make a wicked rat look on the deck with the painted steels and white bands. Side opening rear tailgate with wind down rear window. It has 8 (brown draylon) seats. A few bits of plastic interior trim missing, but the price reflects this. If she was really clean it would be £2500+. No tax or MoT but drives anywhere with trade plates! These full size work horses are getting thin on the ground, and this one is cheap. £750. Car in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Along with all my other garage wibblepoo it's up for grabs. 	Jon, put some Test on it, £750 for a ratty yank with no MOT is not gonna get you anywhere. I thought someone had shoved a load of box section under your Impala today, then I realised it was your chassis!

	If it was front wheel drive it wouldn't be in my garage! Yeah, this is a full size (18ft+) long yank with separate chassis.

	You'll need a ticket to get £750 on a six pot. These box b body Chevies are weird . One minute you can't find one for less than £2750 and then good ones are selling for a grand with a ticket and a V8. Thats sedans, no idea what demand for wagons is like. I keep an eye out. I nearly bought a 305 V8 powered '79 Caprice instead of my Fifth Avenue. It had T&T and went for about £800. In retrospect I would probably have been better off with that one but it was too far to pick up... Good luck with the sale. If I had cash and space I'd probably be convincing myslef why I needed it myself LOL. Where did it come from BTW? I'm sure I recognise it from somewhere....
