Ok I would have shot myself as a kid if I knew I was going to say this .... but... I really fancy a lada... there said it, not so bad huh!!? Ive got bored of my pug 106..... plus its coming up to MOT time, and fancy something 'different again. Would anyone have any idea where to look? I particularly fancy a riva estate due to its handyness with surfboards, but a saloon would do. I live in south wales so close by would be handy too, but hey beggars/choosers etc! Many thanks George

South wales is the Lada capital of the U.K. Ive seen them used by taxi firms up until recently round there!
If you are prepared to wait and scan the newspapers in sure youl find a goodun. Try to get one older than J reg as newer than that they have Catalytic converters and they are very hard to get though the MOTs emissions test.

My friend has an N-registration Lada Riva Estate in his 'collection' which he will sell if anyone is interested! All I know is that it is maroon in colour and was in good running order when parked up.
If you are interested, give him a ring on 07770 922211 and ask for Rowlie. We're in Dorset, so not too far from south Wales. Delivery is possible too.

Update: The car is in really good condition with no dents and very low mileage - only 32,000! It was owned by his friend's mum. The only obvious bit of rust is at the bottom of one of the windscreen pillars, near the top of the front wing.
