Well, I feel it may be time to part with this.... I don't want to but TBH I don't get to use it much, money's tight, and I really should get on with sorting the 3-door. So here goes!
It's a 2.0DOHC injection with about 125k on the clock, having had a full cylinder head rebuild at around 95k. Spacekadett bought it in 2002, with all the modifications ready done, and drove it part-time 'til I bought it in May last year (with 123k on - told you I don't use it much! ;D).
It has the following:
It drives very well - it's quite lively for a 2.0 Sierra, and rides well. It does feel a tad lardy on the bends compared to say a Cavalier or 405, or a lowered Sierra!
Being a Ghia it has nice comfy velour seats, plus the "soft" carpets. The entire interior is in fantastic condition.
There are of course a couple of minor niggles. Although it looks great, the car has had the rear arches and sills welded. The o/s/r arch is showing some signs of rust where the replacement was welded in, although the grot appears to be restricted to the rear door shut area. It also needs one new tyre, and there's some corrosion around the centres of the alloys. Not too serious, though.
The only other issue is that the gearbox feels little tight when cold - an oil change would sort this, I'm sure. The 'box and diff are nice and quiet (as you'd expect with only 125k on them!!)
As it stands I'd like £400 for it. Of course if you get bored of it in a year or write it off, I'll probably buy the car back anyway. ;D
If any drifters / kit-car guys / travellers are interested, it could be had MUCH cheaper with a skanky set of door cards and either GLX seats or 2000E leather ones. A deal could also be done without the alloys but TBH they're not that valuable!

- Tax to end of January
- Janspeed four-branch manifold
- Ashley exhaust system
- Touch-key immobiliser (with certificate for insurance)
- GT cat-1 alarm
- Remote central locking (obviously, as it's de-locked )
- Electric heated mirrors
- Electric windows all round
- Heated windscreen - recently replaced
- Power steering
- Discs all round
- Alpine front speakers, Kenwood 6x9s out back
- League 6.5x15" alloys with 205/50 tyres
