A reg 1983 white golf driver non sunroof

not the best condition, but not bad really as shell is quite solid
car comes with corrado front seats fitted which are very comfy, I do have rears but never fitted them.
red/clear rear lights, x-hair front lights brand new, clear front indicators, spax suspension, mot tester said I may need to keep an eye on one of the shocks in the next year or so. small momo steering wheel, 3 vdo gauges in centre console.
I took all carpets up inside the car and it was gleaming under there. very very clean with no rust like as if it had come out of the factory.
a descent paint job and it will look a million dollars.
sorted a few problems out with it, got it running sweet, passed mot easily. after jobs I had done on it.
started having a few running problems lately. which I worked out what was wrong and got it working fine again. but its come back. its down to the rusty fuel neck which causes bits of rust to fall into the petrol tank causing the fuel lines to block temporarily. changed the filter, hey presto working again. bought new filler neck which I'm fitting this week. then I'm flushing the tank to make sure it runs fine. been leaving the car idling for 30mins each day this week in work and its ticking over sweet.
so in the last week it has had a new battery, new plugs, new leads, new large rubber carb gasket which was about £50 from vw.
red oil buzzer light comes on now and again, but its only a loose connection because when you tap the dash it goes off. the previous owner changed all sensors etc. to do with this. I sorted out a fuel leak from under the petrol tank, as the pipes needed replacing under there. so new pipes there, new pipes in engine bay. fixed the horn wiring, brand new horn.
took rear arches off to find a small bit of rust but it was fine to pass the mot. I will get pics up tomorrow. might get the arches professionally done but will have to add price on top of car.
I wanted to get rid of my polo g40 and do work on this but my polo is stuck in my garage in bits while this golf is in my workplace and my boss doesnt seem impressed. so I think its time it went so I don't P off my boss anymore.
looking for the same kind of money really as I spent a far bit on it so far and put a set of g40 bbs wheels on it which I think really suit it.
could do with a respray as I think previous owner has had a go at spraying a few bits and the colour don't match.
so £600 is what I'm looking for really
