I'm disabled with duff left leg and normally drive autos.
I thought I could cope with the occasional driving of my Morris Minor (second car with an old Chrysler Neon being main "familly" car) but it's too painful even after a couple of minutes so an auto conversion is essential.
I've managed to get a 1275cc Ital engine and already have a BW65 gearbox that is currently mated to a 1500 Triumph engine.
I will need a new engine backplate but they are special to Minor conversions and easilly avialable "off the shelf".
What I'm after is -
flexiplate, torque converter and bellhousing off a late Marina / Ital 1275 auto to allow adaptation of my Triumph autobox.
I would consider complete engine and gearbox combo (in any condition), autobox with bellhousing attached, will remove from car (I have portable engine crane) or even a complete, scrap, car etc.
