I've lost the keyway out the shaft of my alternator. It's a tiny half-moon shaped affair about 12mm long and 3mm thick. The one in the dynamo won't come out!
Can anyone help? Pleeeeeeaaaaaase!!!
Can I buy one anywhere?

You should be able to buy one easy enough.
Theres a place near me that specializes in transmission bearings and i always go and see him for things like this.
Look in the yellow pages for bearing specialists or small engineering supply firms. I normally find the small independant companys are more willing to spend a bit of time trying to help.

As the Rev says bearing stockists are a good place to start as are fastener companies. You can also buy the plastic packs full of different sizes of them for around 15 quid. Always a handy thing to have around.
