I'm in danger of reaching 'vehicular saturation point' again, so something's gotta give. And sadly the most appropriate candidate is my Sceptre.... It's a '66 Mk2 model finished in satin black with a gold roof. It has a 1725cc engine on a 3-speed slushbox. It's not the best in terms of appearance due to the paint and slightly scruffy interior, but is rock solid with no rust anywhere on the body. Mechanically OK, starts first time etc, but getting a little 'oily'. Devastatingly reliable though for a 40 year old. Will be supplied with 12 months MoT and Tax (which is of course free!)Very, very nice to drive.... cruises at motorway speeds all day, has fugging great brakes for a 60's car. Much more pleasant than the equivalent ford or vaux of the age. Added bonuses include a bootful of spares and a foot-square iron cross on the back window ;D What is it worth? I don't know... I'm sure if I put it on eGay with some clever 'keywords' like RAT, ROD or KUSTOM, it would get a good price, but I'd like it to stay in the fold, so make me a sensible offer that reflects what i have outlined above

Ideal world I'd like to get £750 for it. This is based one a sheddy one with rust everywhere and no ticket going on eBay for £490 and a nice going under the hammer at £2300 on there in the last couple of weeks..... How does that sound?

I havent got any money, but i was thinking £600 blind. Its worth that all day long with tax and test. I cant see you struggling to get 750. I'd pay that if i wanted it enough

Pog, ignore my previous PM'd interest. Having "discussed" it I think I'd be shot if I turned up at home with it
