Some of you will remember seeing my red Mk1 Sapporo with the Rover V8 at Billing and a couple of other places. I've owned it since 1986 and I fitted the V8 in 1989. I repainted the car at the same time but now its looking very sorry for itself. Thats why I bought the Mk2 as a door donor.
Anyway, I'm making a real effort to strip the parts I need off all my donors and getting rid of the remains. So for sale is most of a Mk2 Sapporo. Rear arches are rust free, sills are good, front wings have been 'repaired' (may need some more effort), tyres are good, engine and autobox are both good, interior is immaculate, like new, fantastic condition!
I'm looking for an absolute minimum of £100 (less than what my local banger racer has offered).
Delivery possible.

Forgot to say, I'm more than willing to do a swap. I need a Nissan Sunny with a GA14 engine and 5-speed, preferably an N13 but willing to try an N14. Body style, condition, MoT, tax, rust, crashed......all unimportant. Something like this:-  |

At the moment, its all there. Add a battery and put some petrol in and you could drive it home. It would need the handbrake sorting for an MoT, but....my Mk1 really needs the doors.

don't spose the king cab next to it is up for grabs.................... As a matter of fact, it is! Runs and drives. Exhaust is blowing. Got it as a chassis donor but have since got another more suitable. Needs work but easily fixed given time I don't have. Delivery is possible too. Jon |

I must say, I think that is worth £100 all day long. If you're taking the doors, what are your Mk1 doors like? Are they utterly goosed or patchable?
Stuyizz do you have any spare doors?

Sorry i don't really get the door thing - will it come avec doors? Can someone gen me up on what engine is in these, what kind of power they're making and so on? I've been looking for something from the East.

telford is about 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 hours from manchester.
The car is a 2.0 carb, about 100 bhp I think.

Nope  doors are a jolly pain in the backside for these as most dealers left the blanking plugs in the drain holes from new, causeing water and grot build up and then lots of rust. Fortunatly the doors are interchangerble between mk1 and 2 so most mk2s get stripped for the doors if they're any good, bonnets also swap but thats about it. I paid £350.00 for the red Mk2 I bought recently just for the doors, but then swapped the whole car for the black mk1, so I got more bits than I'd first bargained for. Christ on a bike my life is complicated some days |
