I'm having a nightmare returning some springs to raceland uk, as they sent me the wrong ones, yet deny they did stating i ordered the wrong ones. they have also changed there website since and deny doing that to. in the end i cut the original springs as i got curse word off waiting for them to sort me out the correct ones. (should have done it anyway) ive sent the springs back to them and havent heard from them to sort out my refund which i was told would happen if i sent them back. their customer service is appaling. I'm about to send a snotty letter complaining to them, and stating if I'm not dealt with asap ill be contacting the CAB to go to small claims court. is this worth it? everytime i phone them i get fobbed off.... what to do?  thanks in advance. |

its curse word easy to take someone to the small claims court, just bosh it in a google search. You only have to have 'proof' of a debt, fill out one form and pay 30 quid, and they do it all after that.

did you pay by credit card?
If so, you should be able to claim it back from the c/c company and then they will chase the debt for themselves.

should i still send the letter stating my intentions if they do not cough up asap? kinda firing a warning shot? or will this do more damage than good?

course you should. You've got nowt to lose! Mention that youre gonna write to Practical performance Car or summert like that stating whats happened, that might spur em into action.

cool, its in the post this afternoon then. ive already said about all the motorsport websites that will be aware of their 'customer (lackof) service' ill add the letter to the mags too. cheers again boys  |

Put at the top of the letter in bold - before the main text of the letter "without prejudice".
now keep a written record of every phone call you make & letter that you send. find the POD (proof of delivery) of the returned springs, & you should be plain sailing.
