Nice looking car. Those wheels seem to suit it quite well. I`ve had a few of those and loved everyone, shame I am not in the market for one at the minute as it looks a good one. How much are you asking for it. Best of luck with the sale

Might get more interest if you state what sort of money you are looking for. These are under-rated IMHO.

##BUMP## No, this wasnt at longbridge yesterday, what sort of seatcovers are we talking here? Zebra skin? The last time it was up that way was at the Austin Centenery Celebrations where it won best modified Maestro I'm looking for around £1800 for it with spares package, the wheels that are on there (they also have 2 sets of locking wheel nuts) and 2 sets of original alloys. May be able to sort out a new mot for it too if anyones really interested.

Sensible offers= Putting the price down really will be the difference of this car selling or not. Everyones ideas of sensible offers are different and people will be too embarased to ask even though they may be able to afford it.

With an original asking price of £1800 all in the offers should be bassed with that in mind. This is a clean genuine low mileage rust free rare car so the asking price is realistic, but at the same time it needs to go unfortunatly.
The Granadas not going yet, it may do soon as the daily fuel bills are a bit unrealistic for me, but when it does go there is a bit of a waiting list lol. But if you are interested i might just accept a good enough offer, you never know! (TBH though, i doubt it, I'm still having fun!)

To be honest, I do think it'll struggle at that price, especially if you are in a hurry to move it on. Not saying it isn't worth it - it would be if the right person came along. Have you tried the Maestro/Montego website? Or Triple M? www.triple-m.co.uk/phpBB/index.php

Yep, its been on the maestro/montego forum and their classifiedes for a while, but not on the tripleM forum because for some reason my yahoo address is banned. WTF?
Anyway, the reason somebody on the forum gave for someone elses very earley low mileage maestros not selling is 'too many cars, not enough people', whilst it appears there may be some truth in that they still wonder why all their cars are dissapering! Once its got a new mot on it ill throw it on ebay but ill make damn sure its got a decent reserve on it, i know what its worth!lol

Whilst I'll agree with you that its not worth peanuts, you're into Turbo territory there (pricewise), and thats going to affect your sale price. Looking at recent ads and ebay, £2k will get you a good turbo at the mo. I looked for an MG Maestro recently (on ebay, triple-m, Maestro.org.uk), and found that they were all scooped up really quickly. An MoT'ed example recently went for just over £100 on ebay ( fair enough it isnt a true reflection of prices).
Mileage of yours aside, there are still too many out there at about £400-600 for someone to want to pay that much for yours. Good luck with the sale though, hope you get a decent wedge for it.

Cheers mike, thats a good point. There are quite afew about at the mo at that sort of price which i guess will make it more difficult for me to sell this one for what its worth, and turbos are worth that sort of money, but as far as this one goes there arnt many near mint unrestored examples about. Most of the turbos have been restored because the power ripped their seams apart and the rust set in. In my mind a good unrestored example is worth more than a restored example (there are exeptions tho)
