The time has come to move the trusty wagon on. Mrs Wagoneer wants a new car that can do towing duty for our newly aquired trailer tent and a slammed Volvo is not ideal!

Since the pics here, I've painted the roof black with a gold metalflake over the top.
Spec - 2ltr petrol with autobox for perfect cruising, it makes that lovely Volvo sound too. The front windows are electric, back windows manual. The heated seats don't work, but having experienced those that do, I'm glad, they feel like you've had a trouser accident.......
There is no rust on this car. No dents either! Being the estate, there's plenty of room, it's possible to get a 3 metre length of timber inside and shut the tailgate - great fun for visits to IKEA, just watch the other shoppers struggle to get their new stuff in modern cars.
I've (that is, Rmad and I) lowered it by 4" by whacking the springs with a grinder and after 2 years it's been fine, even the MOT man approves. There are Grayston spring assisters on the back to help with load lugging, plus it stops the front bouncing as well. All the superfluous exterior trim has been binned, the holes remain as I just haven't had time to do them. Paint is OK but would benefit a good mopping over or repaint.
There is a towbar with working electrics. The interior is OK, mats intact as well. Dark grey cloth trim. Everything bar the aforementioned electric heated seats work, even the heater fan.
It always starts, is ultra reliable mechanically and comes with spare front struts and rear shocks. The dog guard and plastic boot liner come in handy when I have the kids on board.
I really don't fancy parting with this, but as I'm looking for a tax free Anglia or MKII Cortina, there's no room for sentimentality, but would swap it for the right alternative.
MOT until August next year, tax until Feb I think! Send me a PM if you're interested. £600 gets it despite the option of picking a similar one off the bay for less, this one won't be any trouble.
