FOR SALE!!! Triumph 2500S No MOT or Tax but is in good condition to be made into a really nice smooth car, it has a really good shell, the only welding needed is to the chassis outriggers under the front floorpans & a rear inner wheelarch repair, the doors need some cosmetic tidying, and the hole car needs a blowover paintjob as its flatted ready for paint, would look gr8 in red-oxide primer all over its got a full black interiour, new radiator, alloy wheels, full stainless exhaust system, new carpets, new tyres, refurbished wooden door cappings, at least £1000 worth of spares including mk1 shackles & chris witor lowered & stiffend springs, polybush kit, NOS light lenses, NOS rear brake shoes, New rear wheel bearings, basically 99% of the parts needed to make the car a good smooth, four door retro car, the engine is perfect & runs really nicely & has a new unipart samson battery, plugs, point & leads it need the shocks on the front but they are supplied PM serious £offers i'd prefer not to ebay it, i have pictures, cheers guys

i even have 17" dymag alloys & nuts for this car, white 5 spokes that look like compamotive mo's, it really would make a top car if someone put four wekends into it, i would love to finish it i just don't have the time due to other projects on the go! it drives fine other than the front shocks nocking cause they are no good it also has overdrive, rear spring seats etc are all solid, its a car that would look the part, its gotta be worth £500+the price of the alloys and performance parts and NOS parts to finish it, or if someone has a reliant kitten in good condition i'd swap, cheers all

i could get it back on the road quite quick but its the same, time and to many cars are boggin me down, even my dad said brake open the metal & welder the little that needs doing, change the shocks, paint it red-oxide all over & put the white dymags back on & get it mot'd & take it from there cause its not that bad, if you hear of any kittens let me know,
i know of one near me but has been sitting for years, would you email some buying advice as i don't know what to look for, if i had a kitten i'd make it as light as i could, just carpets front seats & low as i could, standard rims with fat tyres :OP hood rat!

after some thinking, would you consider swaping for the beige kitten?
is this realy as solid as you say? any pics of the rott? and just general underneath pics? you got the bumpers? engine is all OK? i heard they suffer from excess end float? oil pressure good? what year is it? would you consider my kitten for the triumph for some £££?
the kitten is currently broken... i set the valve clearances and the rocker cover gasket is leaking like a sive! (will be cheanged soon) the chassis is in good condition having never been welded, nor neading it, the bottom edge of the chassis rails needs stripping and painting as the trolly jack / the road has taken the paint off. its had a good brakes overhaul, and a efw new bushes and bits upfront on the susspension, also a new tank sender for the fuel tank, and a few little tuning mods, and a completely retrimmed interior with a harness in.
if i was to sell i would keep the exhaust manifold and the stock dampers would go back on. it also has 4 new tyres and about 7months MOT.
i don't realy fancy driving it to coventry behind my dad in the landrover and trailer, seems pointless, so could come to some agreement with going halfs on the trailer and fuel? do you have a trailor? i am in hampshire, gu34 3pt.
this is not a definate i will take it, as i need to do some more thinking, but i certainly am tempted.

i feel the same :OP i'll do a bit of thinking but i tell you what! i'll get the triumph jacked up & jetwash it all underneath & do photos of the dodgy bits, & pics of the whole car & spare that will go with it, if you do the same that would be great as i don't really know what it looks like or what you've done to it, i only have the photoshoped img you done ages ago! the wings are new about 5 yrs ago, the rear archess have had proper welded repairs done & there is at least 5 yrs+ in the arches MOT wise, sills have beed replaced & the repairs that have been done are done well, the floors are unwelded in good condition, the only parts are the front outriggers, they are just rectangular boxs, the arch repair just needs a good clean up and patch & the car waxoiling, the underside is good for a long time then! what shocks & manifold would yours have if you took the type you have on off, would you give me some details on your car, engine, where i get spares etc etc, what needs doing, whats wrong with the engine? can disk brakes be put on these at all, i presume they are drums all round if i was to go with the idea you could trailer yours up, i'd go halfs on trailer & fuel and you have a trailer for the triuph to take back, job done, if you sort some details on the car and pics we'll both have a think! haha a reliant kitten, ppl would takee th curse word outa me rotten, they just have no style tho!

hmm, looks like the plan falls down on the insurance front.... a 18yr old with no no-claims! also, i realy don't have the time for another project! despite wanting it so bad! i have always wanted a 2500! one day...... sorry if i have wasted any time, i will keep my eyes open for ak itten - there is a cheap blue saloon on ebay at the moment, and try www.reliantkitten.co.uk.
