HereI'm sure you're all familiar with this one by now :lol ......tax exempt, full tax disc, full MOT, about 150-160BHP (assuming it does have the fast road cam which it feels like) and a rare beasty, in this colour. It originally was a 1500 (FWD) and still bears all the 1500 badges and almost all of the interior - barring the Sprint dashboard insert and tunnel www.antchip.com/stmsale For a small pile of photos....it's item number 200013307266 just in case. Any questions you know where to find me Thanks, Lewis

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Thanks Dad reckons I could sell sand to Arabs ;D (well, where I live we frequently do anyway, the LB quarries are reputed to sell the finest sand, so they're always buying it! Heh!) Plenty of bidders too and an almighty number of watchers, more than XYJ ever had even right at the end......could be interesting!

I have to say, you ought to get top dollar for it cos Dolomites do not get any better than that. Tax exempt, cracking original bodywork, sprint mechanicals and a super-classy early interior…. I don’t see how you can top it really Dolomite-wise.
So why are you selling it? Have you lost your karma with it after the pain of the MOT repairs?

Yea...It's just when I set out to buy another car I wanted to find one I could uprate and enjoy and instead, on this, I've spent all my time just getting it back on the road and just really have lost heart in it, even though it is a lovely little machine. It's put me through an awful lot of hassle too, right from day one which even though is smoothing out now, taints it slightly every time I drive it. Once I realised that it wasn't what I wanted it to be I just set about returning it to the road and that is what I've now done The bodywork does need some TLC mind but yes, it has all the right bits! Plus, it's fugging rare! Less than 50 FWDs left I would have thought and a minority of those will be tax exempt. As an added bonus it's in Valencia too which is a rare as hell colour in these, never made Dolomites in it anyway. Then you've got all the different little styling subtletes....

I'm one as well. I was tempted for a minute, until common sense prevailed (.... and I bought a multicoloured old Humber. Go figure!!!??)
