NEW LOWER PRICE,(negotiable) MUST GO due to timewaster,not on here. !!!!!!!!! Hello people anyone interested in this Bavarian Bomber? No Tax or MOT but the body is really good for a 20yr old car, it's white (making a comeback in 06 what with new Golf GTi etc). The worst areas of rust is the rear valance and the lower edges of front wings.Was in daily use until MOT ran out at end of May. Needs new center section of exhaust (not noisy but wont pass test). Nice set of BBS X-spoke alloys in black/grey with two brand new tyres. Clean interior but missing part of center console, Sony Mini Disc fitted and working. Front seats i'm told are from a Manta GTE. Does get hot in non mooving traffic but 100% fine out on a run. I am properly pony on PC's so will try to add pics later. I,m looking for £250 (let me know if thats reasonable), but it must go so open to good offers.      The worst of the rust is on rear valance and front wing edges.  I need to learn to buy low sell high, not the other way round!! Someone I believe will be getting a bargain here, I've seen the same set of wheels for sale for what i'm after for the whole car! I just don't have the time/space/money to sort it |

This really MUST go soon, getting it in the neck for taking up valuble garage space.
If no offers it will go on la bay but rather not!!
The tyres cost me £130 this year and are as good as new!!
The alloys have got to be worth over a ton right??!!
So does anyone want it, i will take £200 but i really can't go less

You never know, i REALLY can't go less than £200, yes my problem but i'm making a massive loss as it is. Paid £800 late late year for it and like i say it has 2 BRANDNEW tyres on it costing over £120.
On the Ghay it didn't reach it's reserve last time, although i (now realise) was an idiot to turn down £500 LAST TIME TO END THE AUCTION EARLY!
Anyway i just think it's too good to be scrapped but hell if you just want a cheap trackday/drift car this has surely got to be it.
I'd rather see it die on a track than at the hands of a scrapys crusher!!!!

I'd quite like it for the Czech wrecks rally next year but the rules state the car must cost less than 100 nubs (hence my offer)
The over heating isnt due to head gasket failure is it?

I genuinely don't know if it's the head gasket.
What i do know is that there is no "mayonaise" on the bottom side of oil cap which is usualy a good indication of a knackered HG.
It only overheated once going to a VW show sitting in a Q for over 45 mins on one of the hottest days of summer!
I used it after that and only stopped doing so when the MOT and Tax ran out in April.

Good job you are way down South or I would have made an ill-advised* purchase by now.
* Ill-advised from my space/money/number-of-projects point of view, not the quality of the car!
