Sorry if that's the wrong code people, a friend has got this, was going to put a Starion turbo in it etc etc... Needless to say other things have got in the way and he wants shot. He's not going to take a pack of Polos in exchange, but any realistic offers can be forwarded. He's going to list it on the bay as the last one made £815 on there. It runs and drives sweet, the headlamp and side lamp are missing. Everything else is present and correct... Any opinions on value would be appreciated as it's not an AE86 we can safely assume it's not stratospheric, but it's got a cheeky little 8 valve engine and four link back end, so what say you?  |

I have no idea about value there, but here in NZ that would fetch somewhere around the $2000 + NZD mark if it is the twincam 2T-G version, the diff on them is pretty much the same as an AE86 unit (T-code iirc) and I love those factory steel wheels..... converting to a 4AGE is easy as the E7 Corolla's also came out with A series engines so it's simply a case of finding a crossmember from an AE7x model, and off you go.
Great prospect for a J style ride there, remove the curse word door mirrors and bolt on some fender mirrors, slam it on nice small, wide rims.....

Thanks for the info Snoozin, the plan was to do all that... But as usual stuff gets in the way, storage gets lost etc...  It's in Somerset Phoenix, so pretty much as far away as you can get. It's a 700mile round trip to Newcastle from here as an indication. He just wants as much as he can get, it's the old ebay lottery syndrome, you see one go for £815 and suddenly yours has a mythical value. It'll probably end up on there answer that same question. |
