While at my ol mans, he mentioned the engine out of my old XR.
I got sick of seeing the car in the garage and gave it to him to scrap. Sounds like he's stored the engine somewhere - hense for sale!
It came in my XR, the guy I bought it off was working at a BMW garage and aparently he reconditioned it and bored it out. thats all I know, I never had a prob with it, pleny power for my needs at the time. but its stood for summat like 2-4 years now, and comes without the carb, cos I have got that for the Sapph. I thought of samyboy the otherday about this too - wierd he mentioned it!
The money will be going to my ol man, not me and obv cos its been stood I cant put a guarantee on it, it did always crank up though even in storage (2 yrs ago)! probs comes with gearbox, but I didnt ask.
