I bought this just over a month ago as a replacement for my ailing Beetle that I was hoping to sell but I've now decided to keep the bug and spend some money on it so the SAAB has to go.
It's a 4 door 1976 GL super Automatic model in very good condition for its age, a real timewarp car. Lovely original brown metallic paint and sound bodywork with only a couple very minor rust spots. Everything is original with the exception of a more modern radio cassette. Recorded mileage is 42110 but the odometer has stopped working but the previous owner says that it has been unused and in a collection for a number of years and so the real figure is probably less than 10000 more than shown. Interior is in good condition (boot carpet is almost mint). Original SAAB seat covers and hubcaps are included.
Bad bits: Auto gearbox is a bit noisey and can slip when changing up a gear. Flasher relay has gone (may get around to replacing it before it sells). Rear drivers side window mechanism needs seeing to. Slight oil leak from rocker cover. Headlining sags a bit in the rear.
Approx 10 months MOT and 4 months tax (I think, I'll have to check).
I can even supply a set of 4 SAAB fitment Cosmic alloy wheels for that real retro look!
I don't really know how much this is worth as you don't see many of this age in this good condition but I'm looking for around £375 for it.
