Two weeks ago, I found myself car-less. My old company car had been returned and I needed to wait two weeks for my new one to arrive.
I therefore needed a 'temporary' car to use for a few weeks. I could have gone for a knackered old Mondeo or Vectra, but this cropped up in the local paper for £400....
65000 miles from new....
1983 Honda Accord 1.6 EX Auto
After a bit of haggling, the car was mine. I slapped 6mths tax on it and it has 6mths MoT left to run.
It's in pretty good nick considering it's 23 years old and drives like a dream (I've done around 1000 miles in it). It's got some rust around the rear arches and the odd few scratches and scrapes here and there, but it must have been so ahead of it's time in 1983. Here's some of the stuff it has....
Central Locking
Digital Clock
Cruise Control
Air Con
Tiptronic Automatic Gearbox
Full Electric Windows
Electric Retracting Ariel
Rev Counter
Service Indicators
Anyway, it owes me £375 all in with the road tax. Yours for £325 firm.
