I have a MK1 golf for sale.
its a 1.5 gl auto model, it has the brown interior (as seen in the 'brown one' caddy) its a five door and has all the chrome extras around the front grill, around the windows and also around the interior door cards.
the auto box works great and doesnt miss a beat, it doesnt leak and i cant find any obvious signs of welding.
the interior is original, and even has an electric ariel !!!
it has the original 13" steelies with good chrome trims.
has the odd knock/dent but overall i'd say the paint which again looks very original is in good shape considering its 24yrs old.
HAS TEST UNTIL 22 DECEMBER 2006 AND TAX UNTIL END OF JUNE 2006
IT ALSO HAS FOURTEEN OLD MOT'S
ORIGINAL SERVICE HISTORY BOOK, BUT ONLY FILLED IN TIL 1990

NOT CONCOURSE BUT A DAMN GOOD EXAMPLE OF A 24 YR OLD CAR.
I DROVE IT 152 miles HOME AT AROUND 70-75MPH AND IT NEVER OVERHEATED, LOST FLUIDS OR MISSED REVS ETC ETC.
IN SUMMARY THIS IS A MEGA RETRO MK1 IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE, ITS NOT THE GTI SO WONT DENT YOUR WALLET WITH THE INSURANCE.
