Unless there's some frantic last minute bidding, I suspect the market has now been saturated for issue 1 of PPC!
Chance for a bargain though peeps...there's no reserve - it could be going for just over a quid! ;D

Wow, didn't realise they were worth that much. As someone who has far too many mag's around the house and garage I've got quite a few first issues (including PPC), collected by accident and design. Doubt I'd sell them though as they're part of my 'core' collection, even if many other duplicates etc get chopped up for the DOC archive - sadly can't keep everything, otherwise I'd end up living in something like the British Library.
(Which reminds me, must bump my ad for old ad's, tests etc.)

I've only got these in my PPC collection, I couldn't quite get my head around the MGB repeat feature business! The funds of these will be going back into my magazine fund, so it seemed like a good time to sell. At the moment my collecting is pretty much confined to CC, SM, Retro-Cars and Hot Car as well as the odd 'foreign' mag.

I couldn't quite get my head around the MGB repeat feature business! Got so immune when it comes to MGBs on magazine covers I'd never noticed how they lifted the RPM layout. Cheeky! RPM came out as a freebie sampler thing with Practical Classics didn't it? Holman presumably wanting to stretch things a bit? Was it then the case that EMAP wouldn't go for it, so he (and others) used the experience to set up PPC?

There was another magazine 'Retro' around at around the same time - I've only got one copy though.
ps. Issue one: £11.49 - not quite up there with HotWire's one! But a good price I think.
ps: Issue 2 + -1: £31.00 - More than I expected!
