Quick, before i change my mind....
1984 Mk2 Storm
Havanna Brown
138k miles
12months MoT
The Bad bits first!
The bonnet has a bit of lacquer that has peeled off, there is a rust blob above the drivers doorhandle, and another small one next to the roof rail.
The drivers seat doesn't recline, but is fixed in a reasonable position - remember it has tilt adjustment which works.
'Boy Racer' style foglights fitted, but wiring is all there for originals
Sunroof headlining is sagging.
Water temp sensor inoperative - gauge tested and working fine though. Fan kicks in as normal.
Tax runs out end of March, will be SORN'ed most likely from then.
Now the good ones:
12 months MoT, the list of work needed for the last one was just a mixture screw twiddle, securing the drivers seat, and two sidelight bulbs.
Bodywork is 95% great, all bodykit is well fitted and not bubbling from underneath.
All Storm badges and decals.
Engine is a cracker, revs to redline nicely (when warm!), used mostly locally and not thrashed. Starts well after a week sat unused as i only tend to use it at weekends now. A tiny bit of smoke but doesn't use any oil or water.
Recent oil/filter change
New exhaust, lift pump, front brakes and clutch when i bought it 12 months (5000 miles) ago.
Original 'montreal' wheels are in fantastic condition with good tyres. no kerbing, no scuffs, no peeling.
Leather is excellent, no rips but pulling apart very slightly for about an inch on the top of the drivers seat. Would easily stitch back together. Back seat is virtually unused. All brown bits of interior present and correct - parcel shelf, dash etc.
Sunroof, headlamp washers, 'leccy windows etc work fine
MFA fully working.
Original Blaupunkt MR23 radio with original electric aerial.
Massive folder full of history from previous 3-4 owners.
Brighter headlamps due to battery-fed relay.
Grille spoiler (easily removed and ebayed if looking for originality!)
Pics are here - photobucket.com/albums/c249/cappleton/roccosale/ - note they show the Speedlines i bought it with, it now has Montreals fitted. Also the car now has the correct decals/badges on, some of the photos are from when i first bought it
Looking for £600. Remember this is a daily driver, not a project, and will serve you well! It's been looked after and in the 12 months i've owned it, has only broken down to the tune of £6 (expansion tank level sender stripped it's thread....)
