Lack of space, time and funds are a b****, so one of these has got to go! May consider p/exing a small car (Mini, Metro, Polo, 205 or similar). Choice of two:
1990 DOHC Sapphire GLX in tasman blue. 12 months MOT, 145k or thereabouts. Last year it had a full exhaust, new radiator, and a brand new carburettor. It's a good solid reliable car. Has the standard e/w, e/m, s/r, central locking (now remote), adjustable steering column and 14" Ghia alloys, plus being a 2.0 it's got rear discs. It was fitted with a Peter Lloyd Rallying suspension kit in 2003, meaning gas shocks and -40mm springs.
The bootlid and rear doors aren't the tidiest but it's still presentable. (Can supply panels, but they're red!)
Looking for £300....
The other one: '92 GLSi hatch in smokestone (ultra dark met.) blue. MOT to december. Recent battery, exhaust, service and rear pads (again this one has rear discs, also with ABS). Four excellent tyres on 14" RS 7-spokes. E/W, E/M, C/L, S/R and also power steering. A few little scabs and scratches but mega solid. It also had a replacement cylinder head in 2004, which was properly checked over and fitted with new valves & guides, and the timing chain was done at the same time.
I'm after £300 for this one too...
