Yo good folks, might have something here you J car people might want.
engine, Gear box, prop, G-box X-member, turbo, downpipe etc
there to bolt right into your s13 if youve blown your own CA up,
or make an interesting engine conversion in something.
its been sitting now for 2weeks, came out of car running fine, only reason it came out is cos the bloke whose car it was wanted to upgrade to Sr20det power.

Hmmm.... What kinda power can you get out of these? Are they reliable? I know bout the 20DET's but the CA18's something of a mystery to me

£40k haha you could get 600bhp out of one for a lot less than that really, i think norris designs factor in their huge curse word up rate in developing stuff and then add it on to their prices
its pretty easy to get like darkslider said 280bhp out of it.
everyone in the drift scene moans about these engines because of the lack of torque.. so a lot get swapped out for sr20's i think the lack of torque thing is a load of old ballsacks though, 1.8 turbo will be torquey enough for a lot of applications.
might go on sxoc soon, my mate might advertise it on their. but i thought you chaps on here would appreciate first dibs.

Scrapingscrap? Tempting, but I have decided on the SR20DET. Bought service/tuning manuals for it and everything! Not going to happen until late summer / autumn anyway, as I want to build the Lowrider first, and the Datsun is currently cheap and reliable to bomb around in.
