1984 Ford Capri laser
Diamond white with alloys and sunroof and all extra gauges the laser had.
The car is called Bugsy (B*** UUG) and hasn’t been modified.
The cars done 46K I believe this to be genuine, as it’s only had 1 elderly owner and then 2 short-term owners before me. The chap before only had it a short time to see if he liked Capri’s which is the reason I got it, Ive had it about two months and instantly decided I want a quicker one.
Body wise its good, but tired. The paint is original and still shiny when clean, the down points is that the front end is going. It really could do with new wings and front panel but its mot'd till April and it will probably pass again, mechanically its fine.
The passenger wing has been filled so it has been bodged in my book. The drivers wing just has surface rust really, the front of the sill on the passenger side is going but I don’t think its anything major and the floor is fine.
pictures below, excuse the muck... the fact it was dark and the fact it wasn’t a good location.
Oh another thing, the old chap who had it before I don’t think could afford to repair it so that’s why the wings rusted I think, the scuttle is 100% fine which I presume is pretty unusual, but the wings are the original ones and he also hand made a new front bumper corner bit (presume the plastic one disappeared) so this isn’t anything major.
Also the interior isn’t ripped and all there and is in good condition! The only thing missing is the radio, which is there but the fronts missing.
Pretty ideal car if your looking for a everyday run around or a cheap Capri to see if you like them, I’ve become really attached to this car so I’m very sad to see her go!
Ideal to learn how to drive a proper car!
Price wise make an offer, if its not sold then ill be putting it on ebay towards the end of next month
