Just thought I would add these on here I needed a breather tank on the Golf Syncro and the Audi, so I designed one and had a Batch made. They will benefit any engine, by removing the oil mist from the crankcase ventilation. They will work either vented to Atmosphere via a vent filter, or plumbed back into the Intake, but with more oil taken out than the standard arrangement. Both should keep the air filter cleaner for longer ;D They have got saddle brackets on the top and sides, so you can mount with cable ties wherever is easiest. This also makes it quicker, easier and lighter than a bolted arrangement to fit and remove for cleaning/draining. 2 inlets at the side to promote swirl and help the oil drop out, with an outlet on top to the airbox or vent filter, all are swaged for hose retention and sized to fit common 5/8" hose (15/16mm) Let me know if your interested.....Will be going on Ebay soon as well Cheers Dom

When you compare like for like, take a look in the Demon tweeks catalogue. I can do you bigger capacity or sight guage if you really want, but you only need a bigger capacity if the tank is the wrong shape. Design it properly and it works efficiently, therefore it can be smaller I have just done one 8" tall for someone and have a batch of 20+ sold to the S2 Forum, another 10 sold elsewhere There are TAnks around on ebay at a similar price yes, similar performance...no similar weight.....no Very shiny though....... You pays your money you makes your choice...... Ask some of those sellers to make something specific or a slightly different volume or pipe routing and see what response you get ;D Cheers Dom Ps Ratlookreliant...... 90mm dia 120mm high pipes 5/8" dia x 30mm long Capacity just over 600cc Weight..... less than the mobile in the pics HTH Dom

What's the advised plumbing for this (might sound stupid, I'm just unsure!) Think I might be interested in one of these.

What's the advised plumbing for this (might sound stupid, I'm just unsure!) Think I might be interested in one of these. In terms of what to use ? or how to plumb it in to the breather system ? For hose, I tend to use clear PVC from B&Q ;D Its clear, so you can see whats going on Its light weight Its flexible Its cheap and does the job As for plumbing in, the engine breather (breathers) from the block or Cam/Rocker cover go on to the side tubes then you run a hose from the top tube either to a remote breather filter or to the standard breather connection point in the airbox/air filter You can use a clamp on breather directly on top but I wouldnt advise it, as you tend to get fumes out of it.... much better to put a remote filter in the inner wing, under car etc leave the hoses long enough to be able to turn it upside down and empty if needs be HTH Dom
