Need to thin down the fleet and to raise some funds, so anyone fancy any of these?
1966 1300 Beetle (RHD):
Sea Blue with white interior. Completely stock and with 11 months T&T. Good condition, and a very tidy and practical Beetle.
1962 Ragtop Beetle (LHD):
Originally white but now sprayed in metallic red. Requires a bit of a resto but is T&T until April 2006. Comes with spare interior, two good used doors, 4 good used wings, 2 good german running boards, new front clip, new decklid. Realistically requires a good overhaul to the body but mechanically has a 1641cc motor with twin Webers and a Cogbox freeway flier gearbox that were both new within the last two years. It could be a rolling resto or a great basis for a nice genuine ragtop "small window" Cal-looker. The car also runs a 2" narrowed and lowered beam and banded rims on the rear. Depending upon price offered it may sell with or without the Gene Berg shifter and VW Speedshop stainless exhaust.
1978 MG Midget 1500 (RHD):
Not used since October 2004 and garaged during this time. Frequently started and run up to temperature and driven around the block. The car is good, tidy and honest in Tartan Red with a tan interior and a recent and well-fitting hood. This is a rubber bumpered Triumph-engined 1500 model which is less revvy than the earlier Spridgets but is a great summer ride and always draws "I used to have one of them" comments. The car is very original and includes a nice hood cover and a toneau cover.
I know it's a rubbish time of year to try and sell, so invite sensible offers and would entertain interesting p/x's for some or all of the above, especially for campers, other classic cars and bikes, scooters or what have you.
