hi, need some help.
Like to have all my pics organised, but am having trouble with the British manafatures.
Rootes group covered Hillman, Singer and who else?
And what group do Austin?
Should Rover be in with British Leyland? And MG?
Where to MG Metros go?
See my problem! Could someone please clear it up, thanks.

lates 60's and 70's rovers went into BL which then turned into austin rover when triumph and others died

Yep, the Rootes group included Hillman, Humber, Singer, Sunbeam, Commer, Karrier and earlier Vulcan (the last three were commercial vehicles)
Austin started out as independant, were BMC after 1952, along with Morris, Riley, Wolseley, MG, Land Rover, Rover and I think Vanden Plas, then were BLMC, which included Jaguar, then BL, who later became Austin Rover, so the Metro turbo was an Austin Rover motor.
