The time has come to sell off the imp parts. After not passing its MOT
i have decided that it is un economical to restore the shell, and i also
feel like a new challenge. The car will dismantled early december when i get back from uni. So here are all of the parts for sale -
The engine i built 1 year ago from a brand new block crank rods and
pistons, it has an L4 head with 3 angle valve seats, sport cam, new
janspeed exhaust manifold, newtronic optical igntion system.
All of the previous engine parts have 5000 miles on them, in the past
year of driving.
The rest of the turbo conversion has under 1000 miles on it. It consists
of -
rebuilt maestro turbo 1 3/4" carb, adapted 930
inlet manifold, adapted mestro inlet plenum chamber, maestro intercooler,
custom turbo link pipe with CNC flanges, 35mm external wastegate with
screamer pipe, garrett VNT15 turbocharger variable vane, group A diphragm
dump valve.
The engine is running beautifully, tappets are a little noisy as they have
not had their final clearences done after running in the turbo conversion.
I'm looking around £1300 ovno for this engine
I have a micro dynamics ignition control unit and sensor, that can enable
this engine or anyother to run higher boost on stock compression.
I never set this up on the rolling road and because of this i only ran up
to 6psi of boost.
Micro dynamics box and sensor - £175
4 compomotive TH line wheels 13"x5.5" in as new condition, no scuffs or
marks on the paint. useable yokohama A539 tyres
£450 ono
Half cage by safety devices for saloon - £100
Sport driveshafts and competition doughnuts - £40
Two virtually new front suspension arms - £50
Monte lowering springs - £40
Two corbeau original 70's bucket seats black corduroy fabric with subframes
for imp, two little tears from climing in and out. Pretty old but useable
£50
Mountney wheel and boss for the imp - £20
Halogen coverted front lamps 7" - £20
Cheers
