IF it is still for sale - then yes it will fit your MK1.

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

I know of somebody selling the Weber carb kit specific to a Mk1 Scirocco (same as Mk1 Golf?)

I have forgotten what he said - I think £75 as it's only about a year old (and still shiney!), but I will check tomorrow. And collect from my garage He is/was borrowing my garage to work on his MK1 GLS, then found out it is terminally rusty underneath, so has ended up breaking it Where abouts are you?

I'm down in cornwall near Newquay, but I'm going up to Mansfield to visit some family from 8th till the 13th (Thats the plan at the moment anyway). Mines a GLS too but with the interior out of a storm, it's in reasonable condition and I got it with a lot of the panels that are starting to show tin worm. Was a friends before but he didn't have the confidence to do the work himself or the budget to take it to a garage. And he kept getting Arsed around on ebay so said I could have it as long as I kept it to work on and offered him first refusal if I sold it(free/rad/retro car difficult to say no)

I that case can I refer you to this thread on No-Rice: no-rice.com/forum/index.php?p=vt&tid=9622I case we can tempt you with anything more My place is in Carlton - about 10 miles away from M1 junction 27. And by strange co-incidence my parents also live in Mansfield (guess we were both happy to get away fromt the place)
