I am in the middle of producing a children's book on weird but true facts and I find myself looking for a photo of a 1950 Mercedes 180 (W?). Holds the record for highest recorded milage.
Can anyone of you photo crazy people help? Please remember that this image will appear in print so you must own the copyright (ie it must be your image to use) and scanned to 300dpi.
Am happy to credit either the individual or the board as a whole (OK Hotwire?) in the book.
Any takers?

There was an ad for the Mercedes 190 about 10 years ago which showed a 60's Merc 180/190 and its owner and the ad went something like 'Jose would buy a new 190 but he's not finished with his old one yet'. it had done over one million miles and I think it was based on one of the Canary Islands!!

Just thought I'd jog this along. Someone here must have a nice Volvo P1800 pic we can use in our book. C'mon, chance to get the forums details published in a real book!!

I'll check my camera archives as soon as I get chance... You never know, I might have captured one at a car show or something...
