1962 (consul badge on bonnet - but has a later 64 front grill on) Basically its a 4 door thats been converted to a 2 (there was a full feature on it in Feb 03 Classic ford), it is apparently race ready and was used on the track once or twice - got fuel cut offs, race harnesses full safety devices rollcage etc
Its been all lowered - with uprated everything - drives proper like its on rails - great fun.
The interiors pretty stock apart from the recaro style seats and no rear seat at all (it does have one - but i took it out as you can't sit on it easily cos the harnesses are attached behind it!) Its totally solid, got fibreglass front wings. The paint still looks pretty sweet - has a few chips and a cople of cracks where the rear door handles were filled in - but nothing major - and unsurprisingly it gets serious attention - not a good car if you don't like being stared at !!
Ive not actually used it for a while as i don't want it out in the winter, its due to have a new exhaust fitted asap - as the old one got knocked off on a pot hole as its a bit low
errm runs great, only slight faults i could mention are that the gears can be a little stiff - which I'm not sure if it is the clutch needing adjusting - but its not that bad and a slight rub on one front wheel, which i just haven't got round to checking out
Its got MOT til about May - but its hardley been used since the last one, whole wodge of receipts from the build.
