starting to get a bit cheesed off now. Been searching for parts (perticulary body panels) for the Hyundai Stellar for a while now to no avail. 'Car Mechanics' mag even did an article on finding J and Korean car parts and gave a load of websites to find parts but even thoes came to nothing, they either don't have the right parts, involve filling out forms and them ringing ya back or ya have to have a business to view the cataloge I've even emailed 2 different Hyundai dealers asking if they stock parts but neither replyed so ive just sent the 2nd lot of emails off. So, anybody have any idea where I can get parts mainly body parts for the Stellar? Past J/Korean parts experience or just incredibly bored and have 2 mins? ;D any help muchly apreciated!!!

Do you actually need complete panels? Or can you take patterns from (whats left of) your existing ones, and fabricate repair sections where necessary??

Suppose so, its just most pf the rust is in tricky little placed (sods law) such as on the lip of an arch, meaning it would all have to be fillered which isnt nice, or where the arch meets the sill etc. Also need a new drivers door which is compleatly shot to bits (you can stick ya hand up through the bottom ;D )

when u say you have contacted dealers - is this in the uk? If so, i would advise you pick up the phone and call them. Those type of companies are often very busy and don't/wont make time for emails. They usually answer if u call them though. Or if you want a reply i would email asking for details on their most expensive current model worded as if u are thinking of purchasing - and then add at the end that u also have the Steller and need some panels and ask if they can help. You're more likely to get a reply if they think they might get some money out of you Good luck

Have you tried autojumbles? I know that at Newark there is usually at least one stall selling 80's panels cheap...... As for wheelarches, if you have a pattern of the curve you can usually find something similar than can be chopped about to fit..... my Sceptre has a pair af Transit rear arches on the front..... . And you can use a modified outer repair section to repair the inner arch as well.....

... the only injury I sustained was a bumped head when I let the seatbelt of without realizing the car was upside down and that's not really the car's fault.
