Well, yesterday was a great day for all things Volkswagen.
Ms Grizz and I went over to Sandown (place of big houses and Horseracing) in Surrey, and spent about 6hrs in the dazing presence of air and watercooled VW's and all things that make this "Scene" so well supported.
I know we all on occasion go on about "The Scene" but these guys are so well catered for, that it is easy to see why some builds can easily top out over £30k.
I took pics of what I liked, and what Nicola pointed out to me, because it is easy to miss stuff. Again it was interesting, because a couple of cars, including a peppermint and white Split Bus I showed her going one direction she said no to, and an hour later going the other direction she showed me and told me how nice it looked (lighting from a different angle.)
Anyway, here goes..... Random order, and please feel free to add more pics from your own cameras.
When the paint is done on my bus, I plan on having this type (not the skull) of sticker with Sinclair logo added to my rear and side windows. Allows you to see out, but keeps it very private the other way around.
Anyone know the price range for this sort of work ?
Much of the good stuff happens in the carpark.
Would SOOOO LOVE these wheels on my bus when it is done.
Nice wheels, and fair price it seemed to me.
Very few of these around this year.
Only one I recall seeing. Fridolin.
