Well, Nicola was the one who suggested this last week before we went to Wales and Bath, as a nice way to end off the Bank holiday Easter weekend...... Chatham Steam and transport fair.
Firstly, bravery award to me.... snow and cold out there, I am still aching in the joints, even now3 hours later.
Pics taken randomly as we walked the site.
Took about 180pics, but ONLY posting about 100 here.
A few outstanding bits of engineering seen today, as well as fabrication and finishing.
OK..........................
Handbuilt.... By him.
Maybe my car of the day.... 2xZX900, 3x gearboxes, Mad as a box of Frogs, and the one I would want.
Around 600Bhp/Ton.
Some OOoff here too.
Freeeezing, but happy as a proverbial Pig in shiiite.
Sure there is a song title in there somewhere....
Can you tell what it is yet?
Some awesome bikes.
Horse power....
Only 257 built, 35 scrapped, 70 on the road, this one had one owner till now 2nd owner.
1800 hrs to restore.
Spotless....
Hmmmmmm
Karmann Ghia, amazingly well restored.
Interestingly.... the one that survived and continued to be built.
Arty shot of the day... directed by Nicola
Quite a few of these.... fail to get the point, but liked them anyway.
Cabinet maker owner..... pointed here to the site.
