Humm got a big plot of land, there is just no building on it LOL. A large 'shed' isn't counted as a 'building' though, is it not just a temporary structure? A bit like the Eiffel Tower being temporary? makes no difference. Wooden buildings still need building regs and all that once they are over a certain size. You can build a brick garage woithout planning permission under certain circumstance (although you will need regs compliance)

I've often said that if my numbers came up, I would get a place with two barns/units. (at least)
One I would let all my mates keep their rods in, and suitable other cars. The second would be a unit for working on cars, but done for free. If people had to sign a disclaimer for Health and Saftness, I wouldn't see a problem. Add pool table, one arm bandits etc, and a sort of car based social club with oil appears

I'd love to own a place like that. In fact, not so far away from me is an old abandonned hangar, (for want of a better word), right next door to the UK's biggest vehicle recycling company! It would be ideal! Would that be a rather large shed in Inverkeithing...?
