I sort of like the idea of a Nissan engine going in there, to sort of keep it in the family, wonder if there are any 350Zs in scrappies that you could loot!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D There's a nice orange 120Y around here, only seen it a couple of times mind you, can't get out much |

Funny looking' van innit?!  There used to be a red one that lived around the corner from me. That one isn't too far away from me either. Really like the colour! Dunno anything about tuning... you need someone like Ratdat for talking AE365DR/4V-86 engines and the like!  |

I was looking at building a hillclimber out of one of these,.. You can tune the engines a lot, but you may need to import parts to do it. I believe they have the same basic engine as the Datsun 1200 which is raced A LOT overseas. My personal preference was to drop a Nissan Silva turbocharged engine in it. The back suspension is leaf spring |

ohhh leaf springs, it would hve to be changed to coils, though at least its not a Ford! ill have to keep my eye out for one of these closer to summer, i think it would be an ace project to start as soon as the chevette is manta'd and 5speed.
gutted bout the one in coventry, just up the road and £480 with about 6 miles on the clock and 12 months ticket.
