GTI? They're supposed to have better/stabler handling than the 205... For that money you can't go too far wrong really!

A GTi 309 or a Goodwood 309 as in the pic? If it's a 309 GTi.... get it! All 205 mods apply with regard to the engine, they're just as quick and a little more practical.. if you're thinking of for the track i hear they're a bit more balanced, although obviously more metal so a little heavier so a reason to mod the engine a bit more I'd definately have it for a hundred quid, they're a very underrated car and a lot of fun. If it's a Goodwood special edition (metallic green, anthracite 1.9GTi alloys, poss leather trim?) then snap the guy's hand off, then snap his other hand off so he can't change his mind. Don't trackday it, get it looking nice then flog it for £££££

Definately GET IT, GET IT NOW................................... Sorry got a bit excited then. Having owned a 309 1.9 GTi, 3 door factory faded red paint and factory fitted leaky sunroof............................................... I can safely say they're great to drive, very tunable ( major pug tuners in Coventry helps ;D ) And I regret selling mine all the time. Great fun, and kinda stealthy in looks specially if debadged, slight lowering job and left looking stock the engine can take quiet a few bhp in mods

Go for it for sure, sounds a total bargain, and a new wing can't be too hard to find for nearly curse word all down the scrappie surely?
