TopTaff used to have one - I think it's one of the cars (in the 200 or so she's owned!) that she managed to put on its roof!

My old mate Dave Lane, down in Yeovil has been running this Commer Imp Van (with ultra rare Restall side window conversion) for at least 15 years. Its modded to hell!! He bought it originally for £20 from a scrapyard - it had a Granada Mk1 perched on the roof as found!! He's fitted the 4-lamp front end, the lowered springs, uprated dampers, Sport engine, Janspeed, Escort seats etc as time and cash has allowed. As he says, everything (apart from the paint) he has used was second hand... I love it! I believe he's still using it every day...  |

My missus also used an Imp (saloon) when she was a roadie for a pub-rock band! Thought a Zodiac Farnham might've been more appropriate!

That is well nice, always wanted a Commer, one of those Imps you don't really see anymore, up here anyway. I know a guy with one, but he'd never sell it to me!  :(He's a bit of an Imp obsessive too, even more so than me, he's got loads of them, last time I was round to see him he had at least twenty in the one place!! Interesting guy!  |
