What cars have your mates got? Obviously I've left out RR regulars as we all know them, but I thought I'd put some pics up of cars belonging to mates who either don't use the internet or aren't members of RR... ^My mate's bug. I love this car... low as yer grannys tits and ratty as hell. Awesome. ^My mate John with his Mk1 Golf Cab, which he swapped for... ^This! ^...and he also has this. ^My Uncle's S2a Landy. Been in the family since I was born, recently sold to an enthusiast and resides on an island! ^ The party bus... amazing how many people can fit inside and how quickly it turns into a mosh pit when RATM is put on the stereo... fun times... ^ I'm surprised I'm not a dubber... I'm surrounded by them! ^ More splittys ...there are a few more that I don't have pics of. Show us yours!

None of my friends have interesting cars. Average 3-8 year old hatchbacks, all round. My brother drives a 20 year old E30 318i though. Not modified, unless you count the bottle-top alloys that replaced steels as they were £30 with nearly-new tyres, i.e. cheaper than going to kwik fit .

Most my mates are boring and/or haven't bothered to pass their driving tests yet (bearing in mind they are all mainly 22 now). Most exciting is this E21 of my mates, he doesn't pay it much attention now and it's been sorn for a few years, still I have him to thank for my E21 habit. Rubbish pic I know Edit: Someone down the road does have this though

I should have pics somewhere of some of the really nice stuff a mate of mine had and sold off as I eBay'd them for him.
Theres other stuff as well but its down to "how well do I need to know someone to put their car up here"

All of my mates are either RR-ers, or just not interested in cars. Except for one, a bloke called Keith who should stop lurking and start getting pics of his fleet of mk1 Sciroccos up.... If I get chance I'll stick a couple on when I get home.

Don't get me wrong, not all my friends drive retros - a lot either don't drive, or have a boring modern. Most of my friends with retro cars I've met in car circles anyway - shows and such. They've just become good friends since.

Like a lot of you, most of my mates drive boring curse word and aren't interested in cars really. 2 of my housemates from uni drive these though. Which i think makes up for it. A bit.

Remember seeing this at RTTS a couple of years ago. Hands down best car there in my eyes! Body work was faultless and i just wanted to take it home. Anyway, all my mates drive modern plastic stuff but here's my grandads van. He uses it daily and my dad lernt to drive in it in 1971. I'm also proud to say he's never had a car with a servo or disc brakes.
