Even thought the sound of it is something quite attrocious...
First of the '08 spots from me.
Nice old E30 cab out there getting used in the muck
Mini took my eye
The following are not so much a spot as a mates' car. Plan was to chop the roof and the coils. Maybe in the summer when he's daily driving the roadster not this. Needs to be done IMO
This Beetle is a local car I see a lot but every photo I have of it so far is very blurred. Like is a ghost car or something.
Spotmobile
Spotmobile 2
Volvo 480ES looking clean and shiny in the foul weather
Local E30 is very tidy and very stock. Too stock. SOmething needs to be done.
Tango'd Saab
Halfords Beetle
That low Golf I spotted before is running on winter wheels now and looks much better IMO with the black steelie goodness on it rather than the like 22" bling rims it was sporting before
Sexy red leather interior gives me the horn
When I spotted it first off I thought this was a proper old Mini as its got plenty of rot and the old wavy grill. But its an '85.
Now I like these. Its not old, its not "Retro" but I'd have one. Something funky about them. And it reminds me of Spotmobile2, especially in that red. (Passion Rose Mica to be exact)
Another too-new machine? I thought so but I did stop to look. Imagine it all rally-slagged out and you see potential...
Here's a Peugeot 309 in extra-nice original condition. But whats with the Fiesta RS spotlight thing going on and the yellow trim?
How many horsers Monsieur?
Deux?
At least it has 4 wheels, unlike....
Loved this Merc. Not quite "there" in retroland but this was mint as they come and fully spec'd including a very 80s brick of an in-car mobile installed in the centre armrest. I can imagine some slick haired yuppie with red rimmed glases driving this when it was new.
Not seen such a nice Doggie 800 in ages, especially not in the 5 door. Come to think of it, not seen one in ages at all...
"Not Yet Retro" award goes to the Gen 6 Celica. Mrs Akku had one and it was an excellent car. This needs a little altitude adjustment but the aftermarket rims suit it well. Toyota always gave these such tiny wheels and such big arches, make them look like they are on tippy-toes as stock.
MGB is not apparently in current use
This delightful Merc is though.
Sneaking through the undergrowth for the money shot
I did get arrented for that at the girl's school 6th form dorm when I were a lad... ;D
US spec headlights, an acquired taste but look different
THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR THIS
Now then here's a Mini Equinox in charcoal or graphite or something. I thought these only came in silver or purple? My wife was very keen on a purple one years ago. Unless the A panels and other bits are attended to this one's not long for this world. They have a groovy stars and moons and suns pattern cloth interior. WAH!
Picnic table Astra
Tidy yellow beetle
Whats this, 5 spoke softlines on a stock ride-height 5 door Golf Mk2? Pukka TSW as well. Yo! Have I died and woken up in 1996? Am I in a Coma?
