This is one I had to get a picture of when I was on Orkney; As you can see the petrol station was in the middle of a row of shops and the fuel line swung out on an arm. Dave.

Went past this one in Olney, Bucks. Still got the old set up of fill up whilst parked on the street with the pump hoses stretching across the pavement - cool as...................................................................................................... It's just along from the old Lodge spark plug factory which has been converted into a block of flats, although the Lodge Plugs sign has been retained.

Wow! That petrol station doesn't seem as expenxive as most tiddly "independents" either.
Never knew Lodge spark plugs were made in Olney either!

The one with all the old cars ? On the Botley road ? Nah, that'll be Farmoor Service Station , i've got a whole heap of pics of the tat on that forecourt though(taken last year), i'll try to dig them out and post them up.

That Manor Road one is gorgeous beautiful building. Think theres one over in Bromley but anything idle for 5 seconds gets ripped up and converted in the space of a month

Can't remember what this one's called.... Between Wiveliscombe in Somerset and Bampton in Devon on what used to be, before the arrival of the North Devon Link Road, the main route to that part of the world.

In my travels at work I come across some weird stuff, this was a suprise. 1930's style garage which has been empty for many years and I believe has a preservation order cat 2-5 on it. Manor Road,East Preston(Worthing-ish) As an Athena Poster some years ago. That would look so good converted into an Ace Cafe type venue
