I recall a thread like this some time ago. Have wanted to post this for some time. Witney, Oxfordshire. Also a singular spot today, canvas covers a Karmann Ghia.

love the filling station. I have a real fetish for these. I'm building up a collection of old or abandonned garages for posting.

Theres one I remeber near Godalming, on the back road below Winkworth Arboretum at the bottom of the hill, some pumps in the hedge by an old house that was obviously a station at some point moons ago

I'm afraid I haven't got the pics now, but does anyone know the dead petrol station and Renault dealer just south of Cardigan? I recall there was a big collection of Minors outside....

I've gone past a few of these relics and always want to get inside. Who knows what you might find... And you could make them into a cool house too... Architecture and carchitecture - my two non-living loves

In my travels at work I come across some weird stuff, this was a suprise. 1930's style garage which has been empty for many years and I believe has a preservation order cat 2-5 on it. Manor Road,East Preston(Worthing-ish) As an Athena Poster some years ago.

Here's my Bug (pre spotlights and overriders) at an abandoned pump which used to be near where I live. Sadly, most of the garage building and the pump itself have subsequently been removed, with the remainder converted into a fencing/building supplies outlet.

The local pub where I spend many Monday evenings used to be a petrol station way back when and the forecourt is still quite obvious, but no-one has any pictures of it in the day. Glad it's a pub now, it could've been a lot worse!!
